We are thrilled to announce that Bowers & Wilkins has just launched a brand-new iteration of the iconic wireless speaker, the Zeppelin. From it’s humble beginnings, the Zeppelin was always eye-catching and the sound was big, bold, and beautiful but offered limited connectivity.

The redesigned Zeppelin is focused on wireless streaming and is compatible with AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and aptX Adaptive Bluetooth (a relatively new codec that offers hi-res support and which B&W supports in its latest headphones). When combined with the Bowers & Wilkins Music App the Zeppelin becomes a gateway to the top music streaming services including as Tidal, Deezer, Qobuz, Soundcloud, and TuneIn. It’s upgradeable too, so as new services appear, you’re covered. Alexa voice control is even built-in for hands-free operation.

Bowers & Wilkins has incorporated driver technologies from its stereo speakers into the Zeppelin-shaped single chassis, including:

• Two Decoupled Double-Dome tweeters (as found in the heralded 600 Anniversary Series)
• 90mm midrange drivers from the proprietary Fixed Suspension Transducer (FSTTM) technology used in their high-end floor standing models.
• A 150mm subwoofer has been mounted centrally in the Zeppelin’s structure, optimized to avoid detrimental vibration within the cabinet.

These elements are driven by 240 watts of amplification in total, making the Zeppelin one of the most powerful wireless speakers on the market.

The new Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin is available in two finishes:

• Dark midnight grey
• Pearl grey

Both finished feature dimmable ambient lighting which projects a subtle halo effect on the metal pedestal stand.
